Spring at Arts On Main Gallery

Arts on Main Gallery presents Whimsy & Wonder, a new show welcoming spring, opening on Saturday, March 2nd, and on display until May 29th. Work by 22 PEC-based artists will be on display, including photography, shadow box art, pastel work, pottery, ceramic and wire sculpture, fine stone sculpture, turned wooden artwork, jewellery, fibre art, mixed media, and multidisciplinary art.

The artist co-operative is proud to announce that six new local artist members have recently joined and are displaying their art in this new show: Adryan Manasan, Laurie Mclachlan, Agnes Bellegris, Ron Erwin, Howard Goldberg and Tom Ashbourne. Everyone is welcome to attend the Opening Reception at the Gallery on Saturday March 2nd 2-4 PM. Most of the gallery artists will be in attendance on Saturday, happy to meet and discuss their work. Refreshments will be served.

Also on display during the month of March is Capturing the World, a photography show in the Back Room Gallery, opening on Saturday, March 9th. There will be an Opening Reception for this show on Saturday, March 9th from 2-4 PM.

Work by seven local photographers in a variety of photography styles will be featured in this show, including Lois Child, Rick Matthews, Sheila Ascroft, Margaret Liddon, Ron Erwin, Bert Jenkins and Daphne Creasy.
