During stage 3 of re-opening our office will be open to members only on Mondays from 10-5pm. We ask that you wear a mask before entering our space.

Summer/Fall Programming:

PEC Arts Trail gallery members are open to the public.
Artists in the Community grant deadline: October 15, 2020.
Our What’s On listing is being updated with local online events, exhibitions and workshops.

Cancellations:

PEC Studio Tour and The Maker’s Hand are both postponed until 2021.

Federal Government’s Arts Sector Assistance:

In his press conference on April 15, the Prime Minister said that Minister Guilbeault had brought up the challenges of the arts and cultural sector on access to the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB), as well as the importance of artists at this time of physical distancing. Here are the key changes:

Emergency Support Fund for Culture, Heritage & Sport Organizations

Phase 1: existing recipients through Canadian Heritage’s arts and culture programs
Phase 2: other arts and culture organizations that do not currently receive funding from Canadian Heritage or another participating federal agency (Canada Council for the Arts, Canada Media Fund, Telefilm Canada)
