Our office at The Armoury, 206 Main St (Unit 2J), Picton, is open to members Mondays-Thursdays from 9am-3pm.

2021 Programming:

PEC Arts Trail gallery members are open to the public with limited capacity and following all COVID-19 safety protocols. Please check gallery websites prior to visiting for current hours and capacity limits.
Art in the County will be online June 18-July 4, 2021
PEC Studio Tour will resume in 2021 from September 24-26.

Cancellations:

The Maker’s Hand is postponed until 2022.

Portraits of Resilience

The Art Gallery of Ontario has an open call for artists of all ages to participate in an online exhibition of artworks showcasing moments of emotion and resilience in everyday life. Any maker across Canada may submit. The submission deadline is June 25, 2021. Please click here for more information.

Support for Workers in Live Arts & Music Sectors Fund: This fund is designed to support the arts and cultural sectors with contracting and employing artists and cultural workers as part of the federal government’s efforts to assist Canadians in weathering the COVID-19 pandemic. There is no deadline to apply. Applications are accepted on a continuous basis for projects to be carried out between April 1, 2021, and March 31, 2022.

Canada Healthy Communities Initiative: Providing up to $31 million to support communities as they adapt spaces and services to respond to immediate and ongoing needs arising from COVID-19. The initiative is supporting projects under three main themes: Creating safe and vibrant public spaces; Improving mobility options; Digital solutions. The application portal for Round Two applications is now open. Applications must be submitted by June 25, 2021, at 5:00 PM PST. Administered locally by The County Foundation.

Highly Affected Sectors Credit Availability Program: Low interest loans for amounts from $25,000 to $1,000,000 are now available for businesses that have been hardest hit by the pandemic, including tourism, hospitality and arts and culture. The federal government’s Highly Affected Sectors Credit Availability Program (HASCAP) is now accepting applications.

Ontario Small Business Support Grant: Businesses, including charities and non-profits, with fewer than 100 employees may now apply for the Ontario Small Business Support Grant, which helps small businesses that had to close or significantly restrict services under the Province-wide Shutdowns. Applications are now open until June 25, 2021. Grants range from $10,000 to $20,000.

Ontario’s New Skills Development Fund: Submissions for round one of the Ontario government’s two-year $115 million Skills Development Fund are now closed. Details about applications for round two are to be announced spring 2021. The fund is open to non-profit organizations and designed to support projects that will help relieve pandemic-induced barriers to hiring, training and retaining workers while preparing for the province’s economic recovery.
