Ravel investigates the tactile, the layered, and the transformative—the selected pieces reveal the intimate relationship between material, technique, and meaning. Whether through weaving, stitching, knitting, felting, embroidery, or experimental textile practices, the works celebrate structure, tension, softness, imperfection, or the unexpected journeys of thread and fibre.
Curated by Susan Wallis. On exhibition June 13th – July 5th, 2026 at Melt Studio & Gallery at Base31, Barrack 3, 343 County Road 22, Picton. Open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, noon-5 PM.
Opening Reception June 13th, 2026 at Melt’s booth at Gather in the County, 10 AM-4 PM in the Bluebird Building in the Crystal Palace, Picton, where selected pieces from the show will be on display, and at Melt Studio & Gallery noon-5 PM.
