The 10 x 10 Art Show

It’s the fifth year of The Department of Illumination‘s biggest show of little art in the County! The 10 x 10 art show and fundraiser takes place at the County Arts Lab in the Armoury, from November 19th-29th, 2026. This event is a fundraiser for The Department of Illumination and all artworks will be for sale for $110 + HST. Sales are divided between the DOI ($60), County Arts ($20) and artists may receive $30 or donate their portion to the DOI.

The County Arts Lab is located in Unit 2E of the Picton Armoury, 206 Main Street, Picton.

The Department of Illumination was founded in 2013 by a group of artists in Prince Edward County, Ontario, who came together to create the Firelight Lantern Festival, and they’ve been lighting up The County ever since! They aim to bring joy and creativity to the community by producing festivals, workshops, and other artistic events. Their company of artists weaves creativity into the fabric of the community, bringing people together for shared experiences of wonder and beauty. They strive to be a cultural leader, demonstrating excellence and innovation in rural arts.
