Late fall offerings at the County Arts Lab.

Registration is now OPEN for our Late Fall session at the County Arts Lab!

The Late Fall Session is your last chance before the end of the year to learn with us at the County Arts Lab! We have an exciting mix of courses from shorter workshops to multi-week courses in dance, landscape painting, book arts, fibre arts, portraiture, and more.

Returning for a Tuesday morning 6-week course is the amazing Megan Fitzgerald, Transcendent Landscapes is selling fast already so don’t hesitate! And on Thursday mornings Lucy Sterezylo will lead a 6-week journey through Bookbinding, each participant will leave with 6 beautiful hand-bound books!

Artist Instructors Ambivalently Yours and Stacey Sproule are teaming up to teach a 4-week course for adults and youth on Unconventional Portraiture, explore and subvert this ancient art form with two incredible instructors!

And we are thrilled to welcome Allison Nichol Longtin to the County Arts Lab team! Allison will be teaching a Saturday morning Interdisciplinary Choreography course for adults over 6-weeks at the Picton Town Hall, come be inspired by this embodied process.

For youth we have a Wednesday after school 4-week Acrylic Painting course with fan favourite Angela Jane Lavender, who will guide youth through the entire process of making an acrylic painting from a reference image.

For the kids, Amanda Smith has returned to teach a 5-week Yarn Crafts course, the perfect activity for cooler weather. Don’t delay as these classes sell out fast!

And we have two workshops this session, a return of the very popular Cyanotypes workshop with Sara Keller, this time on fabric! And one of our fabulous artist facilitators has returned to teach – Kaya Joan will host a Friday evening Zine Making workshop! Both of these workshops
are available for youth 15+ and adults.
