Frank began doodling in notebooks in grade school and never stopped. He has been an emerging artist for the last 40 years. After retiring from the Toronto District School Board in 2018 he decided to put into practice what he had been teaching for 30 years. While the fundamentals of fine art were always a part of his teaching, developing curriculum for the CyberARTS program led him to explore the merging of new technologies with the traditional arts. He continues to explore watercolour, acrylic, ink, oils, and various printmaking techniques as well as digital photography. He is an artist facilitator for PECAC’s Art Together program.
Much of his work focuses on line and pattern and the harmonious chaos found in the natural world and his imagination.
Frank has exhibited at Guildworks in Bloomfield and and at Carbon Art & Design in Picton. He has a mural piece at Base 31’s permanent Nature’s Aviators exhibit as well as several pieces in private collections.
