In February 2024, we moved into an light-filled, 2500 square foot space on the main floor of the Picton Armoury! This move will help County Arts unlock the full potential of our arts community through increased access to space, equipment, and new audiences and opportunities, and represents a monumental step in solidifying Prince Edward County’s place as a top arts destination.
But we need your help to bring this vision to life! We are currently pursuing new grant and sponsorship opportunities, including capital requests and a major gifts campaign, to equip the space with lighting, sound, exhibition, and media arts equipment, as well as a stage, seating for one hundred, and moveable walls to allow the space to be configured for multiple uses – and catalyze a range of new programs to better serve local artists and the broader community.
We would love to hear from individuals, businesses, and foundations interested in helping us during this transformative moment for Prince Edward County’s arts community. Please contact our Executive Director Janna Smith at janna@countyarts.ca for more information.
Sincere thank you to our County Arts Lab Founding Partners, a wonderful group of individuals and organizations who gave over $5000 to support the launch of the County Arts Lab in 2022:
