Winter 2025 at County Arts Lab
Create with us this winter at the County Arts Lab!

The 2025 Winter Session at the County Arts Lab is now open for registration. Whether you are interested in painting, printmaking, writing, textile arts, or media arts, we’ve got something exciting for you!

On Monday evenings, Tom Feiler returns with another engaging photography course, this time on Still Life Photography

Our popular and beloved Photoshop for Beginners returns for 6 weeks with Kyle Topping of Spark Box Studio. This course is delivered as a weekly video and weekly in-person or online sessions.

For the painters, Megan Fitzgerald is back with a brand new course called Abstract Places, for those who love both abstraction and landscapes. And speaking of abstraction – Zac Kenny returns with another session of his Intermediate Abstract Painting course.

If you are a writer, dig into Creative Non-Fiction with Thomas Harrison and tackle interesting topics through your own unique lens.

We’ve got another Saturday morning Kids’ Creation Club for the creative kids, with Lucy Sterezylo sharing her extensive knowledge of Printmaking with tons of fun projects! And Lenny Epstein and Gavin North return to get the kids laughing with two after school Improv Comedy courses, one for kids, and one just for teens!

And for workshops, we’ve got a great selection! Irene Götz, our fan favourite drawing instructor is teaching an exciting new workshop on the digital drawing app Procreate! Renee Lortie returns to teach another 2-day workshop over Family Day weekend on Tapestry Weaving, and Lucy Sterezylo is back again with a TetraPak Printmaking workshop. Finally, we welcome a new instructor, Catalin Ivan, with a Coding for Artists workshop all about making generative art with the online platform p5js.org.

Spots are going fast, so sign up today and learn something new! Learn more and register here.
