Melt Studio and Gallery is thrilled to announce a new show featuring the work of Indigenous Artist and Educator Janice Brant, Ecologist, Artist and Educator Nina-Marie Lister, and encaustic Artist and Curator Susan Wallis. Working both separately and in collaboration, these three women are exploring the theme of fire and its effects on our homes, land, and histories.
Three Sisters, Three Artists, One Fire is taking place as a part of the Prince Edward County Studio Tour, and will run until October 23. The Studio Tour weekend takes place from September 30-October 2.
“At the edge of a new epoch, with our climate changing and Nature in crisis, we make hope together. As artists, this is our invitation to an unfolding story and its dance around the Fire.”
This show is made possible through generous sponsorship from Base31.
