Colour is one of the most appealing aspects of painting, but getting the colour right is often a major source of frustration for artists. How to choose a palette? How to mix colours?
Participants will review the distinctive qualities of colour including: value, hue, chroma and temperature. The workshop will also explore how to create a palette which will illuminate and strengthen a painting while reflecting an artist’s personal style.
This workshop is on November 9 1:30-4:30PM at the Baxter Art Centre, 3 Stanley Street, Bloomfield.
Visit the Baxter website to sign up, cost $45. If you require further information, please email Jodi Shuster at jodi@jodishuster.com.
