2gallery currently has two pop-up exhibitions featured in restaurants in Prince Edward County, displaying the work of photographer Felicity Somerset and master printmaker Otis Tamasauskas.

Curiosity and creativity are watchwords for Felicity Somerset. A Toronto-based fine art photographer, her work is most often inspired by nature and rural life. With a focus on the intimate and often abstracted image, Felicity captures the essence and intricacies of what surrounds her. She has a true passion for image-making. Felicity’s work is now on display at Hartleys Tavern, a unique downtown, fine dining restaurant offering an elegant, relaxed, and casual atmosphere with a unique creative menu, fine wines and craft beer. 19 Elizabeth St., Picton.

Over decades as both artist and teacher, Otis Tamasauskas has reimagined and reinvented the traditional notions of printmaking, becoming one of Canada’s leading artists in the form. His complex works, in both subject matter and technique, are extraordinarily beautiful and instantly recognizable as his. Otis’ prints, often unique or of varied editions, bring together elements of the natural world, found items, images of the past and ruminations on his own personal experiences. Otis’ work is now on display at Stella’s Eatery. Serving the excellence of Prince Edward County, Stella’s menu is seasonal, inspired by local farmers, producers, and nature. Stella’s is designed for family-style dining and sharing. Each dish is a celebration of local, foraged, and seasonal ingredients. 2470 County Road 8, Waupoos.
