The 10 x 10 Art Show: Call for Artists

Artists wanted: be part of the biggest show of small art in The County! After the tremendous success of last year’s 10 x 10 art show, The Department of Illumination is doing it again. Artists are invited to purchase a 10” x 10” wooden panel and create an artwork in any medium, any subject, any style. Panels are $15 (HST included), payable by cash, credit, or debit. The 10 x 10 ART SHOW will take place at Carbon Art & Design, 281b Main Street, Picton, from November 17th to 24th.

All artworks will be for sale at the show for $110 + HST. Sales will be split: $50 to The Department of Illumination, $30 to the artist, $30 to Carbon.

How to Participate:

Panels are available for pick-up at The Department of Illumination studio on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12-4 PM on the lower level of the Picton Armoury Building, 206 Main Street, Picton. You can buy as many panels as you wish, while supplies last. Can’t make it during that time? Contact nella@deptofillumination.org to make other arrangements.

NOV. 10th-11th, 10 AM to 4 PM. Drop off finished artwork at The DOI studio. If you can’t make it during this time, contact nella@deptofillumination.org to make other arrangements.

Nov. 17th: Opening reception for 10 x 10 ART SHOW. DOI members get early access!

Nov 24th: Show closes, all remaining artworks to be picked up from Carbon Art & Design.
