MUSE

The MUSE show is five artists responding to the life size sculptures by SaraLou Miller.

The MUSE group got together in the early summer and have worked side-by-side in a studio space at The Armoury.  They not only bonded with the sculptures, but also each other.  The reaction that the individual artists had to the five sculptures varied.  Many of the artist created back stories for the MUSES, giving them a past; essentially the artists brought them to life, this can be seen in the art they created.  On display will be paintings, collages, jewelry and photography.  The artists involved in this collaboration are SaraLou Miller, Penelope Patrick, Kato Wake, Jennifer Topaz Bruce, Laurie Gruer, and Mehdi Agahi.

The exhibition is from October 4-7 from 11AM – 4PM at Studio Ex, The Armoury, 206 Main Street, Picton (please use Mary Street entrance). Opening Reception on October 4th from 4PM – 8PM we will be serving beverages and nibbles.

Exhibition is open to the public and is free.  You are invited to join in and see how you respond to the MUSES!
