Experience this one-day retreat of healthy expressions of art and bliss at the magical GRACE Studio property in Prince Edward County to benefit Reaching for Rainbows‘ Expressive Arts Therapy Program.
Your day of healthy play will help Lotus Hero Project, a PEC not-for-profit, provide an expressive arts therapy program to benefit Reaching for Rainbows, a charity based in Picton that welcomes and embraces the girls in our community who are most in need of a place to find friends, empower themselves and develop a sense of belonging.
The girls aged 6-9 are recommended through local schools and programs, Community Living Prince Edward, and recommendations from within the community.
Reaching for Rainbows offers a warm and welcoming space to help spark curiosity and promote an atmosphere where girls can learn through play. Expressive Arts Therapy, which will complement their current programming, combines psychology and the creative process to promote emotional growth and healing to these young girls.
Facilitators include Heather Kerr of GRACE Studio, Gwen Shandroski, Amie Loga and Karen Hotston of Reaching for Rainbows.
Saturday, September 9th. Located at 500 County Road 18. Spots are limited – reserve yours by emailing Delane Cooper at delane@lotusheroproject.org.
