Gwen Shandroski is a Canadian-born visual artist living in Picton, Ontario. She has worked and lived on both coasts and in five provinces. Her work has been shown in galleries in Toronto, the Women’s Art Association of Canada and Art In The County. Her first solo show was in Leslieville in Toronto.
Gwen works as an expressive arts psychotherapist in PEC and facilitates classes with County Arts. She retired from a career in speech-language pathology in 2024. Her approach to facilitating art holds as high sensitivity, low skill. Her own art has evolved into broad strokes with colour in an inherently abstract fashion often with bits of paper images. Her work invites curiosity.
