Presented by Festival Players on the outdoor stage and grounds of The Eddie Hotel & Farm, Flight: PEC’s Festival of Contemporary Dance brings dazzling stage shows, powerful workshops, amazing site performances and intriguing community collaborations to the people of PEC! Now in its second year, Flight arose from a vision to create a festival integrating diverse and Indigenous dance. Flight Festival values dance as a meeting ground for performance, experience and education that embodies vital social issues.
Don’t miss evening performances on the Festival Players stage at 7 PM August 9-13. Outdoor site shows will be held on August 11 and 12 at 5 PM and on the 14th at 10:30 AM.
Diverse dance workshops are being facilitated from august 10-13, along with a community engagement project August 10-14, and the Grass is Lava Kids Camp from August 8-12.
