County Arts Lab – Early Spring

Artscene March 2024 Edition

County Arts Lab – Early Spring
The Early Spring Session features courses for kids and adults.

Registration is now open for a session that you will not want to miss- courses in painting, sculpture, textile arts, dance, writing, and silkscreening! Come get creative with us at our beautiful new space on the upper level of the Picton Armoury.

On Monday mornings, join Dianne Kehoe for a 4-week Watercolour Journaling course and find wonder in this fantastic medium. On Monday evenings we are very excited to welcome Bill Stearman to the lab to teach a 6-week Memory Quilt course.

For the writers out there, we have a 6-week Flash Fiction course with Dawn Miller on Tuesday mornings, and for the acrylic painters a 6-week Colour and Composition course with Jodi Shuster on Wednesday mornings.

Andrea Piller also returns for a Sculptural Clay course on Thursday evenings to teach participants how to make 3D forms in stoneware clay. And Allison Nichol Longtin returns as well with a 5-week Collaborative Choreography course on Saturday afternoons.

For the kids we have Angela Jane Lavender coming back for her seasonal favourite Kids’ Creation Club Earth Day is Every Day!

Exciting workshops are happening in April as well! Yasmine Louis returns with her popular Silkscreening Workshop, with two dates to choose from: April 2nd in the evening or April 3rd in the afternoon. And Christine Renaud will join us at the end of April to teach an Embroidery Basics Workshop.
