County Roads Theatre presents Collected Stories, an intimate character study of relationships and the shifting power dynamics between teacher and student. As a student and aspiring writer seeks to learn from her professor, a published author, the play explores how time, truth, and art change people and their relationships.
That teacher-student relationship is given palpable depth on stage by County residents and professional actors Joan McBride and Melissa Paulson, who were themselves teacher and student years ago at John Abbott College’s Professional Theatre Department in Montreal.
Showing for only nine performances from September 22-October 2 at Mount Tabor Playhouse. Tickets are now available at Books & Company (289 Main Street, Picton), online at countyroadstheatre.ca, and at the door before the show.
