Building Bridges Gallery at The Local Store has partnered with artists and artisans of the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory to showcase their work. Located within the oak walls of a beautiful, old County dairy barn in Prince Edward County, all are invited to this special evening of traditional Indigenous teachings led by Artist and Spiritual Healer, Rebecca Maracle.
This sacred ritual is a sharing of teachings, part of which is to purify the space of old barn and the lands that it sits on, adjacent to the shores of the protected wetland of Waring Creek. Cleansing will purify the space allowing our hearts and minds to open to receive comfort, spiritual protection, healing and mindfulness.
Saturday, July 15th from 4:30-8:30 PM at 768 County Road 12. This is a free event. Please click here to reserve your spot.
*Note: Please print tickets for entry to indoor events beginning at 5:30 PM.
