The Maker’s Hand is a prestigious fine craft show featuring both established and up-and-coming artists from across Ontario & Quebec. Since 2004, the show has attracted more than 50,000 visitors from Toronto to Ottawa and beyond!
In 2026, this County Arts signature event will be returning to the County Arts Lab, located in the historic Armoury at the heart of Picton’s vibrant Main Street. The show will feature over 25 booths inside the County Arts Lab, in the adjoining Armoury Atrium, and outdoor courtyard. There will be extended evening hours on Friday November 6th from 1-8PM, with a Sip & Shop event taking place from 5-8 PM. During this time, visitors can enjoy a complementary glass of wine or non-alcoholic beverage while supplies last, and select exhibitors will be offering 10% off. Plan to shop late then take in a film at The Regent, dine out at a Picton restaurant, or head over to the Crystal Palace for the Firelight Lantern Festival. The $5 public entry fee gives visitors access all weekend long! Children 12 and under get in for free.
