Kids’ Creation Club returns with a new and unique Art Journaling course with Angela Lavender! In this 6-week artistic adventure, young artists will explore a variety of mixed media and layering techniques as they create their very own art journal. With the aid of creative prompts and technical guidance, participants will work on developing their own sense of artistic freedom, learning to express themselves and their uniqueness through their art.
The activities will encourage introspection and self-love, while teaching some very cool mixed media techniques along the way! Young artists will leave with their in-progress journal and some take-home prompts to continue their new art journaling practice whenever inspiration strikes.
Kids’ Creation Club 1 (ages 5-8) will be held on Saturday mornings from 9:30-10:45 AM, October 1st, 15th and 22nd.
Kids’ Creation Club 2 (ages 9-12) will also be held on these dates from 11:15 AM-12:30 PM.
A make-up class will be held on October 29 if necessary. Classes will be held at The County Arts Lab, Unit 1G, in the Picton Armoury Building (206 Main Street, Picton).
A sliding scale fee system is in place to ensure accessibility for all classes.
