Tommy Feiler is a Canadian-based artist who works primarily in lens-based mediums and holds an MFA from OCADU University in Interdisciplinary Master’s in Art, Media, and Design. His work aims to highlight the ordinary, everyday objects that share our space. He often explores the humorously complex interplay between text and image while thematically focusing on memory and the power of objects imbued with memory.
Over the past two years, Tommy’s work has been shown at several venues, including the Toronto Artist Project, Blitz Gallery, Gallery 1313, Leslie Grove Gallery, the Visual Art Centre of Clarington, and the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. His work is currently displayed at Maison Dupoivre at Base 31 in Picton, PEC.
In addition to his artistic practice, Tommy has taught at Toronto Metropolitan University and Sheridan University. This fall, he will be expanding his teaching repertoire to include Durham College.
