By way of introduction, my name is Sharron Reeve. I have been retired since 2012 and I currently reside in Wellington, Ontario. My career was in the Medical Field for 37 years and when I retired, at age 59, I went back to Community College and obtained a Diploma in Event and Project Management. I have been painting for approximately seven years and am self-taught. I primarily use acrylics, however, I also work in oils and occasionally watercolours. In fact, I began painting using watercolours on little thank you cards and moved on to using acrylics.
For many years, I was a stained-glass artist and I have created many windows and doors for clients and friends. I feel that working with glass and the variations of color that are fused together really helped me understand how colours work together so much better.
My portfolio is very diverse, and I don’t really have a particular style. I enjoy painting different themes and this has helped me develop my skills in the long term.
