Although I’m best known as a landscape photographer, it really doesn’t matter what is in front of me or where I am. If I see great light, I want to pick up a camera and get to work. Most of my work centers on the Canadian landscape, its flora and fauna. I work with my wife Lori and we share a love of travel and exploring Canada.
Over the years I have traveled a bit – not as much as some but more than most. When I hear stories on CBC radio of out of the way places in Canada, often I’ve been there. It is a wonderful connection to this country when you can conger up an image or the smell and taste of the place when you hear its name.
In February 2020 we moved to Prince Edward County. Formerly I was based in the Scarborough Bluffs, Ontario and was a Professor of Photography and Digital Imaging at Seneca College.
My work appears in books, magazines, calendars, and corporate interiors. To learn more about my work, please visit www.ronerwin.com.
