I’m a performance artist, educator, writer and creator from Montréal. I went to theatre school at John Abbott College and hold a B.Ed from McGill University. I left Québec for New York City for a year and took a writing class at the PIT led by Peter Michael Marino. This was the start to the development of my one-woman show For the Love of Pie. I performed my piece at the Montréal Fringe where it was nominated for Best Solo Fringe show and then Chicago where it was selected as one of the 5 best bets of the Chicago Fringe 2016 by Timeout Chicago.
In the last fifteen years, I have collaborated with artists to craft performances and programs that challenge societal norms and amplify women’s voices. I’ve advocated and promoted leadership programs for teenage girls in NYC schools through the organization WET Productions and developed a monologue writing workshop for The ROC Youth Centre in Picton. I’ve guest-starred in the The Boys, The Detectives, The Bold Type, Hallmark’s Christmas in my Heart, and was part of the Bell Let’s Talk Day campaign Let’s Change This in French and English.
I am the co-founder of Hysterical Hearts, a female-founded storytelling collective. Our first short film, Savage Breakup, was selected at St-John’s International Women’s Festival 2020. Since 2022, I’ve been performing in my community of Prince Edward County: Collected Stories with County Roads Theatre Company and The Vagina Monologues alongside the Marysburg Mummers. In March, I started working with Joan McBride to bring Joan Didion’s autobiographical one-woman show The Year of Magical Thinking to Mount Tabor Playhouse. Together, we co-directed this piece that will have its premiere on September 26th, 2024.
Lately, I’ve felt a pull to re-shape my connection with theatre, to re-imagine what it means to engage with an audience. I’m working on a new performance piece that threads together the strands of my skills, background and artistic obsessions. This September, I’m thrilled to be diving into an MA in Cultural Studies at Queen’s University – a space where these explorations can deepen and expand.

The Year of Magical Thinking by Joan Didion comes to Mount Tabor Playhouse. With dry wit and unflinching honesty Joan Didion shares how unprepared she was for sudden loss in her life, and how she found her way through.
