I describe myself as a creative thinker and a visual designer. I’ve had a 25 year history of working in graphic design, painting and instructing art. As a painter, colour is what excites me most. I am cursed, (or blessed), in being adept in a variety of styles –from realism to abstraction, in a variety of mediums – cold wax, oil, acrylic, and mixed media.
For the past 4 years I’ve taught painting classes at Baxter Arts Centre in Bloomfield. I work in my studio in Cherry Valley and have participated in shows: Art in the County, Blizzmax Gallery, John Parrott Gallery, Maison Depoivre, County Contemporary and ArtXchange in the County, and Twist Gallery in Toronto. In March 2019, I’m super excited about teaching painting for two week-long classes in Portugal.
