Gary is a self-taught artist who started painting in 1983 when he created murals for a McDonald’s PlayPlace. He was able to use his creativity in a variety of fields, including house painting, custom mold making for a candy manufacturer, sign painting, and training as a maintenance millwright, utilizing his mathematical and mechanical mind and eye for detail. After that, he created a few paintings, but didn’t really put more time into it until late in the 1990s. He has recently gotten back into carving again, and is enjoying working in this medium once again.
Each of Gary’s pieces are unique and different with the added bonus of being affordable. Whether it’s a drawing, oil painting on canvas, painting on logs/saws, carvings or a combination of all of the above, there is something for everyone to love and own. Some are serious and complicated and others are just plain whimsical and fun.
Personalized commissions are accepted upon request.
