Diane creates vibrant mixed media paintings bursting with bold colour, texture, and intricate pattern. Working primarily with acrylic paint layered with her personally created gelli press papers and stencils. Some of her favourite subjects evoke expansive quilt-like landscapes and maps for imaginary explorers.

She has studied with the late Franklin (Archie) Arbuckle, OSA, RCA, in Killarney, Ontario, Kato Wake at Baxter Arts Centre in Bloomfield and online, and at the Haliburton School of Art and Design.
