Candice Woodard is an artist in Prince Edward County who is inspired by the patterns, textures and seasonal colour changes of the countryside.
Candice’s primary medium is dry pastels as they offer deep rich colours and have a beautiful luminosity. Pastels are a tactile medium with a direct connection to both pigment and paper.
Candice is a member of the Pastel Artists of Canada Association (PAC Signature Status), and the Prince Edward County Arts Council. In 2023, she joined the artist co-operative Arts on Main Gallery in Picton.
Since 2018, she has achieved success in juried art competitions, (Art in the County and Pastel Artists of Canada) and has participated in the annual Prince Edward County Studio Tour.
In 2024, two of her paintings were selected to be hung in one of the official residences in Ottawa.
