I am a writer, editor, dance artist, and arts educator. I began my professional life as a choreographer, creating transdisciplinary works, combining dance, video, installation, and sound to offer immersive experiences to the audience. My work has been presented in Montreal, Toronto, Berlin (Germany), Zurich (Switzerland), and Delft (The Netherlands).
Originally from Toronto and a graduate of the dance department at the Etobicoke School of the Arts (ESA), I have a BFA with honours in Contemporary Dance from Concordia University in Montreal as well as a MA in Transdisciplinary Art from the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) in Switzerland. I work as a freelance teacher, choreographer, and rehearsal director with the Quinte Ballet School of Canada (Belleville) and Joy of Dance Centre (Toronto).
As a writer and editor, I work mainly in the creative non-fiction form, crafting reflective stories about my life and experiences through prose. I regularly contribute to a number of online publications and work with clients in the non-profit sector, providing a range of writing services. Visit my website to learn more about my work in education in the non-profit sector.
I left big city life for Belleville in 2020 and am keen to connect with the arts community in my new home. I’m a lifelong learner who loves to collaborate with and support local artists. You can find me exploring the County’s trails by bicycle and beaches by foot on a beautiful day.
