The Wellington Community Association is calling on local artists to paint two benches for them!
The first two beautiful benches were installed in Wellington in May 2024, and the Association will be installing two more in May 2025. The bench design is adapted from the Wellington Museum’s historic, heritage benches and each one will be painted by a different County artist.
The Association is asking for Prince Edward County artists to be creative, think outside the box, have fun, and to submit unique designs to be painted on the benches.
Design considerations
Benches must:
– Be unique to Wellington reflecting the ‘feel’ or character of the village
– Involve the creative use of various colours and styles.
All artists must be residents of Prince Edward County. Please contact the Wellington Community Association for guidelines and more information.
Deadline for design submissions is December 6th, 2024. Submit your designs to info@wellingtoncommunityassoc.com.
