Two Collections

Mad Dog Gallery presents their annual solo art show, Two Collections: Paintings by Celia Sage.

During the past year, Celia has been doing most of her seeing in her own home, outdoors on the Millennium Trail, or at other appropriately distanced idyllic County settings. Featured works like Witness of Clouds celebrate glory manifested in the skies everyday as light plays with air and vapour; Last Supper Bouquet observes spring flowers brought by guests to a dinner, where tulip perfection changes, as days pass, into unexpected and mysterious new beauty

Such observations have resulted in two distinct distillations drawn from her pandemic experience, similar to many others’ experiences during this past year.

This exhibition will run at Mad Dog Gallery June 19-July 11. All dates subject to regulations outlined in Ontario’s Roadmap to Reopen the province. Please contact the gallery for details prior to your visit.
