Revolutionary Optimism

This winter The Society of Stitchers turns TEN and you’re invited to the party!

SOS is the annual winter embroidery club led by Nella Casson, where The Department of Illumination opens up their magical studio to the community to gather and get creative. No experience required and all are welcome – kids, too!

The theme this year is Revolutionary Optimism, and participants will be working together to create a joyful bunting, plus there will be some delightful surprises along the way.

January 15th to February 13th, 2025, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5-7 PM.

The registration fee includes 12 sessions, all supplies & instruction, snacks & tea, good vibes & boundless joy! Come to as many or as few sessions as you’d like.

$40 + HST = $45.20 – that’s less than $4 per session! If this price is a hardship for you, please pay what you can. If you would like to “pay it forward” for another participant to take part at a reduced cost, please indicate at time of payment.

The Department of Illumination Studio is located on the lower level of the Armoury Building, 206 Main Street, Picton.
