The Regent Theatre opened on November 2nd 1918 with the promise of a “good orchestra” and ever since music has been an integral art of the Regent’s history and legacy.
The Theatre’s second century will kick off with a celebration of artists with deep roots in Prince Edward County. Miss Emily a “County Girl” and prominent singer/songwriter will be the producer and lead performer. Emily has been featured in many of the Regent’s most memorable shows including the inaugural concert after the major renovation in 2011. Emily has another unforgettable night in store for us, with a powerful program that includes special guests including folklorist and musical creator Suzanne Pasternak, multi-instrumentalist Ben Vandergaast and vocalist Siobhan Bodrug.
As an ode to the Theatre’s birthday, tickets are $19.18 plus tax and processing fees. Concert begins at 7:30PM on November 2.
