The Maker’s Hand is a prestigious fine craft show featuring both established and up-and-coming artists from across Ontario & Quebec. Since 2004, the show has attracted more than 50,000 visitors from Toronto to Ottawa and beyond!

Taking place November 7th-9th, 2025, this County Arts signature event will be presented at the County Arts Lab, located in the historic Armoury at the heart of Picton’s vibrant Main Street, with over 20 booths located inside the Arts Lab and the adjoining Atrium.

On Friday, November 7th, doors are open from 1 PM until 8 PM with a special “Sip & Shop” event beginning at 5 PM – attendees will receive a complimentary glass of wine or a non-alcoholic beverage (while supplies last) and up to 20% off from participating exhibitors. Doors are open Saturday November 8th from 10 AM-5 PM and Sunday November 9th from 10 AM-4 PM.

Our Art at the Heart of Picton referral program gives event attendees an opportunity to access special discounts at 6 participating Picton Main Street businesses, including The Royal Hotel Boutique, Kelly’s Shop, Savon du Bois, Beacon Bike & Brew, and Zest Kitchen Shop. Attendees will receive their coupon for use at participating businesses upon completing a visitor survey.

Our All are Welcome Hour on Sunday November 9th from 10-11 AM is a designated time to ensure that people with sensory, mobility, and other disability-related needs can more readily engage with the arts. The lights and music are lowered, and exhibitors are prepared to engage with visitors of all abilities. The show will be open to the general public at this time, but it is a traditionally quieter time to visit.

A note on accessibility: The Armoury’s Main Street entrance is wheelchair accessible, and accessible parking is located in front of the building on Main Street. There are accessible washrooms located just outside the County Arts Lab, plus wide aisles for ease of movement.

Entry is $5 for unlimited access all weekend. Free entry for children under 12 and for assistants of persons with a disability.

A show for all tastes and price ranges, we can’t wait to welcome you to the 21st edition of The Maker’s Hand!
