The Agony and Ecstasy of Colour

Colour is one of the most appealing aspects of painting, but getting the colour right is often a major source of frustration for artists. How to choose a palette? How to mix colours?

Under the guidance of Jodi Shuster, participants will review the distinctive qualities of colour including: value, hue, chroma and temperature. The workshop will also explore how to create a palette which will illuminate and strengthen a painting while reflecting an artist’s personal style.

This workshop is on March 7 from 2-5PM at the Baxter Art Centre, 3 Stanley Street, Bloomfield.
