Summer is in full swing, and we’re excited to launch a series of Summer Workshops at the County Arts Lab! For one week only, we’re bringing back three favourites from recent sessions, along with an all-new zine workshop. Whether you’re looking to learn a new skill or spark your creativity, we hope you’ll join us to create with us this summer!
Painting Starts: Unstick the Stuck with Julie Seddon offers a supportive two-day experience for artists of all levels, combining personalized coaching, group discussion, and painting techniques to help participants build confidence and overcome creative blocks.
Mixed Media Embroidery with Christine Renaud invites participants to experiment with embroidery on fabric and paper, combining stitch with watercolour, collage, texture, and photography to create expressive mixed media artworks.
Crisscross Bookbinding Workshop with Lucy Sterezylo introduces a unique hard-cover binding technique as participants create a beautiful handcrafted book while learning foundational bookbinding skills in a welcoming, hands-on environment.
Make Your Own Zine: Small Books, Big Ideas with Reem Rizk guides participants through the creation of zines using writing, drawing, collage, comics, poetry, and other accessible creative prompts with a fun introduction to the history of self-publishing.
