Summer Sensations Group Show

Come celebrate the arrival of another colourful summer at Hatch Gallery with their first group exhibition in over seven years!

This show will showcase brand new paintings by Toronto artist Kimberly Joy Danielson. This incredible painter has a BFA from OCADU and her current body of work emerges as a synthesis of a lifelong practice of painting inspired by the colours, traditions, and handicrafts of Västerbotten Sweden and Telemark Norway.

This exhibition also includes new works by emerging artist Sarah Dufresne from Thunder Bay, and local Prince Edward County abstract artist, Gerry Jenkison.

After a three year hiatus, Summer Sensations also marks the return of artist Katie Pretti. A graduate of OCADU, Pretti has held studios in Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, and Brooklyn, and has been artist-in-residence at COME (Buenos Aires), Ctrllab (Montreal), The White House (Toronto), and Spark Box Studios (PEC, Ontario). She is a powerful Toronto based artist exploring narrative abstraction in drawing and painting.
