Mad Dog Gallery presents their Spring Peony Flower Show, an extraordinary display of florals by regular Mad Dog artists as well as a number of guest artists. Featuring art by Susan Straiton, Celia Sage, Brian Clark, Andrew Innes and more, these works have been created during the most recent lockdown, inspired by the peonies that can be found in the beautiful gardens just outside the Gallery.
Gallery owner Anne House comments: “The idea for the Spring Peony Flower Show was a result of the peonies from my garden in our first lockdown in spring 2020 that no one, except for my husband and I, could appreciate. I photographed a beautiful bouquet of peonies last spring and then asked our Mad Dog Gallery artists and several guest artists to create works in any medium or any style of their choosing.”
This colourful and refreshing show can be found online on Mad Dog Gallery’s website, and the Gallery is open for visitors for the last three days of the show from June 11-13.
