Spark Box Studio

Kyle Topping and Chrissy Poitras are the owners and operators of Spark Box Studio. Both practicing artists, they are graduates of the Fine Arts and Art History programs at Queen’s University.

Their mission is to create an affordable, focused environment that encourages exploration, experimentation and the cultivation of new ideas. They run several programs in support of this vision, including the Community Print Shop Rental Program.

If you’ve always been curious about how they create prints, or if you want to see all the old presses they work with, or if you want to give an affordable, original piece of art to a friend or family member this holiday season, please stop in to the shop to say hello!

The shop will be open to the public now through December from 12-5PM Saturday & Sunday (and through the week by chance or by appointment email chrissy@sparkboxstudio.com).

On display will be the work of many talented local artists, as well as many artists who have taken part in the residency program over the years.
