Silent Writing Circles

The County Arts Silent Writing Circle sessions give you the time, space, accountability, and structure you need to bring your projects to life.

Sessions are FREE and open to anyone 18+. They are held at the County Arts Lab, conveniently located on the Main Street level of the Picton Armoury.

There are still 3 sessions left for this fall, hosted by our fantastic volunteer Facilitators, Anne McSommers and Dominic Leslie. We are offering both morning and early evening sessions to try and accommodate a variety of schedules:

Wednesday October 16th 5:30-7 with Anne

Friday November 8th 10:30-12 with Dominic

Wednesday November 27th 5:30-7 with Anne

You can sign up and come to one or all 4 sessions!

Wondering what to expect during a Silent Writing Circle? Your friendly volunteer Facilitator will kick things off with a welcome and introductions. They will inform everyone of the structure of the session, which will include concentrated writing periods and short breaks. Prompts to get the creative juices flowing will be provided for anyone who needs/wants them.
