On Sunday, October 1st, Base31 invites the community to the launch of their new Sensory Garden – a playspace at Base31 for kids and kids-at-heart! This permanent space, designed and built by Wild Child Regeneration, offers nature-based play in ways that heighten our many senses.
Starting at 11 AM, the community will be welcomed to this new space with live music entertainers for kids, introductory speeches, scavenger hunts, crafts, and the unveiling of incredible artworks by local artist Portia Chapman. Light snacks will be served. This will be a rain or shine event, so please dress appropriately for the weather.
This free event will run until 2 PM. Please pre-register here.
