PEC Chamber Music Festival 2026

The Prince Edward County Chamber Music Festival brings its 2026 season, “A Celebration of Strings,” to you this September through October.

Mark your calendars for two extraordinary weekends at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Picton: September 18–20 and October 2–4, 2026.

Featuring:

The Gryphon Trio — one of Canada’s most celebrated chamber ensembles — opens the festival in style.

The Soloists of Les Violons du Roy bring breathtaking Baroque strings and harpsichord to the County.

The New Orford String Quartet, returning to the PEC Chamber Music Festival Stage.

The incomparable Caity Gyorgy — jazz vocalist extraordinaire who has wowed the County Jazz Festival — joins the Festival with her trio for a very special evening.

Four Play Cello returns by popular demand, featuring our own Artistic Director Paul Marleyn alongside Festival Young Artist in Residence Jacob MacDonald.

Plus, the Festival welcomes James Ehnes — one of Canada’s most celebrated violinists — for a very special recital. He’s also premiering a brand new work by this year’s Composer-in-Residence, Carmen Braden, an extraordinary composer and singer-songwriter from Yellowknife.
