County Arts and Base31 are excited to co-present a unique learning opportunity to ensure that local artists have the skills and confidence to apply for public art call for proposals.
Facilitated by Chrissy Poitras and Meaghan Claire Kehoe – two professional artists with a combined 16 years of experience creating murals and public art installations, Murals and Public Art 101 will be presented at the County Arts Lab on February 27 & 28 from 10-4PM.
If you are curious about shifting your studio practice into the public realm this jam packed two day workshop is for you! Chrissy and Meaghan will be delving deep into demystifying project applications, planning budgets and materials, navigating contracts, and scaling your designs from paper to the wall!
You will also be part of an intimate group of fellow artists – a great opportunity for networking and potential collaborations. Free to participate, but space is limited. Please click here to register. If you have questions, please email Stacey Sproule, Programs Manager – stacey@countyarts.ca.
