Melt Studio + Gallery invites artists to submit work to two upcoming exhibitions: RENEWAL, and RAVEL. View full submission details at meltstudiogallery.com.
RENEWAL
As winter gives way to spring — snow melting, days stretching longer, light returning — Melt invites artists to explore RENEWAL in this annual Spring exhibition.
This season of transformation is both external and internal. Renewal appears in the natural world and in ourselves: in fresh starts, evolving perspectives, and the quiet energy of change.
In the medium of your choice, interpret rebirth, growth, and transformation. Your work may reflect awakening landscapes, the renewal of the human spirit, the evolution of ideas, or the emergence of something unexpected.
Submissions that embrace renewal in all its forms and celebrate the promise of new beginnings are welcomed.
Submission deadline: April 26th, 2026
Show dates: May 16th-June 7th, 2026
RAVEL
RAVEL invites artists to explore the beauty, complexity, and poetry of textile materials and processes.
Melt is seeking works that investigate the tactile, the layered, and the transformative—pieces that reveal the intimate relationship between material, technique, and meaning. Whether through weaving, stitching, knitting, felting, embroidery, or experimental textile practices, your work might celebrate structure, tension, softness, imperfection, or the unexpected journeys of thread and fibre.
This exhibition welcomes interpretations both literal and abstract: from detailed explorations of surface and texture to conceptual investigations of connection, memory, and the stories embedded in material.
Submission deadline: May 17th, 2026
Show dates: June 13th-July 5th, 2026
