Participants of this free workshop will learn how to create a personal medicine bag with Melanie Gray, while also learning teachings about the medicine bags and the four sacred medicines: tobacco, sage, cedar and sweetgrass.
Melanie Gray is an Indigenous Artist, Jeweller, and Art Therapist from Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory. Melanie is from the Mohawk Nation and a member of the Wolf Clan. She has facilitated many workshops sharing Indigenous artistry and teachings.
This workshop will be held on Wednesday, October 5 at 2 PM at Bloomfield Public Library (300 Main Street, Bloomfield). Pre-registration is required.
