Between March 1-3, the 8th annual Belleville Downtown DocFest will screen more then 50 documentaries at various venues in the heart of Belleville. The festival kicks off with a Green Carpet Reception followed by a screening of the critically-acclaimed Gurrumul, a film that documents the life and legacy of one of Australia’s most celebrated musicians: Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunpingu. Opening gala starts at 6PM March 1 at the Empire Theatre, 231 Front Street, Belleville.
