Introducing Contemplative Photography, a way of making pictures, a way of seeing, a way of life. This is an afternoon dedicated to the artistic pursuit and philosophical side of photography. A small group of artists will explore how to connect with their subject, whether it is human, nature, or inanimate. County Photographer Phil Norton will present slides to open up the conversation. Participants will then show a few of their images, followed by a walk around town to try out what they learned.
Bring a camera or phone, along with 10 of your own digital image files on a USB stick, 1500 pixels or more wide. Or bring prints. Meeting at Miss Lily’s Cafe, 289 Main Street, Picton on December 9 from 12:30-4:30PM.
For more in formation and registration visit Contemplative Photography, cost is $70.
