Celia Sage: Banquet

Mad Dog Gallery presents Banquet, a new exhibition of oil paintings by Celia Sage. The milestone exhibition marks the 25th solo show of Sage’s work at the Gallery. The exhibition opens at 10 AM on Saturday, June 15th and runs until Saturday, July 6th, 2024. There will be an Opening Reception on June 15th from 3-5 PM. All are invited to attend.

“From the day I first arrived over forty years ago, Prince Edward County has been, for me, a banquet for both eyes and heart, which has offered me more than I will ever be able to offer back in painting form. To celebrate my twenty-fifth solo show at Mad Dog Gallery, I’m highlighting a favourite subject matter over the years: celebrations! In addition to some landscapes — the visual feast that lines the roads and fields — this year I’m celebrating neighbours, colleagues, visitors, and friends old and new as they gather to feast, dance, regale, serve, and share the gift we’ve been given: Life —in the County.” – Celia Sage.
