HatchGallery presents By Canadians, an exhibition featuring new paintings by Canadian artists Julie Himel, Pamela Mayhew and Paul Sloggett.

Julie Himel is a Canadian artist whose paintings are about the human experience. She looks closer to the elements of that experience, to worlds lived and imagined, the spiritual and the emotional, memory and promise.

Pamela Mayhew is a Canadian artist based in Prince Edward County, known for her lively abstractions that feature bold, gestural brushstrokes and a joyful, lively palette.

Paul Sloggett RCA is a Canadian abstract painter known for his use of geometric shapes and patterns. Sloggett is a member of the third generation of artists inspired in their painting style by Ontario’s Painters Eleven.
